Duties

The Scholarship & Funds Committee is responsible to coordinate the award of our 4 annual Lloyd Douglas Scholarships, one in each of the Atlantic provinces.  More details about this and other scholarships are shown below.

ACWWA Scholarships & Funds

The Atlantic Canada Water and Wastewater Association (ACWWA) is pleased to present the following scholarships and funds annually.

AWWA Scholarships

AWWA and its members recognize the importance of investing in students as the future of the water industry. AWWA supports students through discounted memberships and more than 17 scholarships, listed below. WEF Canham Graduate Studies Scholarship

This Water Environment Federation (WEF) scholarship, honouring the former Water Environment Executive Director, Robert Canham, provides $25,000 for a post-baccalaureate student in the water environment field.   More information on eligibility and the application process/deadlines can be found HERE.

ABEA Annual Scholarship

At the 2011 ABEA AGM, held in St. John’s NL, it was decided that the Atlantic Branch Equipment Association would support four (4) / $1000 scholarships for the sons/daughters, of ACWWA/ABEA members, intending to pursue a career related to the water / wastewater industry, and those choosing to study in Atlantic Canada.  More information on eligibility and the application process/deadlines can be found HERE.
