The Executive Committee is responsible for the overall operation of the Association.  To ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of ACWWA, the Executive Committee members are directly involved in the following:
- Strategic Plan
- Bylaws
- Scholarships
- Nominations
- Committees
- Special Projects Awards
- Water Quality and Technology

The 1st Vice Chair oversees: Committees; Special Projects
The 2nd Vice Chair oversees: Awards
The AWWA & WEF Directors jointly oversee: Water Quality & Technology
The Secretary-Treasurer oversees: Association Documentation & Finances

The Executive Committee consists of volunteer members of the Association.  They meet on a regular basis to ensure goals of the Association are being addressed.  The Executive Committee guides and directs the Office Administrator regarding the business affairs of the Association.  They also provide high-level leadership and guidance to the Directors for the committees working on specific needs and projects of the Association.

The current Executive Committee posted was elected at the ACWWA Annual General Meeting held in Halifax on October 19th, 2009.
