The ACWWA Emerging Leader (formally Young Professionals) Committee is made up of engineers, researchers, technical salespeople, and managers getting their start in the water and wastewater industry. Our goal is to provide these young professionals with fun networking and volunteer opportunities to enhance their budding careers.

Networking Events

The ACWWA Emerging Leader Committee organizes social networking events througout the year. In the past, these have included pub nights, conference events, and brewery tours.

Sporting Events

Curling? Kayaking? Softball?
Tell us what sports you like to play and we'll organize events for ACWWA Emerging Leaders in your community.

Outreach

Participate in educational outreach projects, including the first-ever Atlantic Canada High School Water Tower Challenge.
