Access to your personal information is restricted to the Executive Board and Committee Chairs of ACWWA. Our best effort is made to apply all patches and upgrades required for security reasons on our website.
Our server and hosting company is located in Canada. Your data is not subject to the US patriot act.
All online payments require credit card transactions. These transactions are all conducted on Beanstream servers on behalf of ACWWA. Beanstream has been a trusted eCommerce partner since 2000. More information on the Beanstream payment processor can be found at http://www.beanstream.com/public/index.asp. Your credit card details are never seen nor stored by our servers.
Retention of Your Personal Information
ACWWA does not, at this time, have any policy for purging collected information. If you want personal information removed from the website please contact the Website Chair, found under Committee Chairs on our Contact Us page.
Children’s Privacy
ACWWA believes that it is very important to protect the privacy of children and encourages parents or guardians to spend time with their children to participate in and monitor their activities. To the best of our knowledge the ACWWA website does not contain any material of interest to children. ACWWA does not intend to collect personal information from children, should we be aware that we have such information in our database it will promptly be deleted. We also ensure that all advertising, sponsorship and promotional activity is not targeted at those under the age of 13.
