City of Moncton - IWA/AWWA Audit(s) benefits & lessons learned

The City of Moncton has been conducting IWA/AWWA Audits every few years since 2007. Through these audits, the municipality has learned a lot about their system. Many processes have been put in place to better capture data, infrastructure upgrades, leak detection and measurement tools were purchased along with staff training. However, the continued success of our Audit improvements & results did not come without obstacles and setbacks. We would like to discuss the benefits gained by completing IWA/AWWA water audits as well as lessons learned.
